The winkingly titled Lost at C from 2011 was originally contemplated as a piece for bowed celli. Experimenting, I discovered that I really enjoyed the sound of it played pizzicato with col legno (striking the string with the wood of the bow) melodic accents. And so here’s that recording. A post-minimalist piece exploring hockets/echoes in a large space over a C pedal point.
